Hello!
I'm a designer living & working in Chicago, IL.
As a person... I love owls.
As a designer... I love illustration, motion graphics, and graphic design.
I'm currently employed at Cintas as their Multimedia Designer.
I also freelanced for a few years after I graduated from DAAP in 2009.
In college, I studied Digital Design which makes me a jack of all [digital] trades.
Luckily, through internships, freelancing and at my current employer I've also
learned important print & traditional graphic design skills. I'm happy to say that
I'm a well-rounded designer ready to take on any visual-communication problem
one may need a solution for (and then some)!
Something that helps my design process & production creativity is my knowledge
of the fine arts. I've been drawing, painting, and making crafts since I was a wee one!
I come from a family of artists and designers. Pretty rad, right?!
One of my favorite quotes is,
''It's not about the world of design,
but the design of the world.''
That being said, I like good design. Not just cool design but design that works and
has purpose. I want to use design to make better systems and resources for those
in need. It would be an honor to work on any project which seeks this resolve.
